Who you are:

Solution oriented, a strong communicator, and uses active listening to understand client needs and provide tailored and timely recommendations. You'll work with dynamic colleagues - experts in their fields - who are eager to share their knowledge with you.

As a Financial Advisor, you will support clients who are at or approaching retirement by guiding them and recommending wealth and insurance solutions relevant to their unique situations.

What will you do?

  • Help clients be ‘retirement ready’ using advanced advanced planning tools.
  • Conduct investment risk assessments to determine clients’ risk tolerance, and provide solutions aligned with their risk profile and goals
  • Proactively call and take calls from existing Group Retirement Savings plan members who are retiring or approaching retirement in order to assist them navigate their retirement income options.
  • Towards our continuous improvement philosophy, we might ask your involvement in workshops to improve processes.
  • Foster and participate in a work environment that values people, invites creativity, and celebrates learning
  • Stay informed of departmental and industry product, policy, and procedure changes

What you have:

  • A College Degree
  • A valid and active Life License in Ontario (LLQP)
  • Certified financial planner (CFP) designation is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of related sales and/or service experience (sales experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
